Young Adult Fiction Websites

The following websites are highly recommended for their scope and the quality of their articles. YA fiction writers conducting research into the genre will benefit from visiting these sites on a regular basis, as will teachers and students.

The School Library Journal's website – A great resource that includes reviews, blog links, and articles on a wide variety of topics related to YA and children's fiction.

YA Reads – Another great resource for those interested in the teen fiction genre. Includes a forum, author interviews, book reviews, and a YA fiction news section.

The University of Manitoba's Canadian Literature Archive (Young Adult Fiction) – A long list of Canadian YA authors, with links to their websites.

Fiction Press's Young Adult Fiction section – Fictionpress.com is a website where anyone can upload their short stories for others to read and discuss. Their YA section has thousands of entries, and is an intriguing indicator of the themes that are currenly engaging teenage (and possibly adult) fans of the genre.
